13 November 2023 – International Photography Studio, I Heart Studios, which currently runs Studios in both Hong Kong and Amsterdam, is thrilled to announce the addition of three fashion industry experts to their senior management team. By appointing Jess Chung as General Manager in Hong Kong as well as Lauren Jansen as Head of Operations and Sureyya Gursoy as Head of Commerce in Amsterdam, I Heart Studios hopes to benefit from their diverse backgrounds and extensive experience. The new additions to the team will play a vital role in driving growth, optimising processes and providing industry insights to Clients.
Lauren Jansen has been appointed as the Head of Operations in the Amsterdam office. She brings with her over 10 years of experience in the supply chain, marketing, and fashion industries in both South Africa and The Netherlands, with a deep passion for project management and process improvement. Lauren has expressed excitement about maximising operational efficiencies – “I Heart Studios is backed by an impressive freelance talent pool and cutting-edge studio technology and I am personally very enthusiastic about strengthening our operational processes to optimize this further.”
With over 15 years of experience in brand and sales management within the fashion industry, Sureyya Gursoy brings a wealth of expertise to the role of Head of Commerce, in the Amsterdam office. Having worked within different business environments, Sureyya is now eager to support and provide strategic guidance to the Commercial Team at I Heart Studios. She wants to aid Clients in maximising their sales and marketing by partnering with I Heart Studios for promotional and eCommerce imagery. When asked, Sureyya had this to say – “I’m excited to team up with global brands and utilize our talent and technology to take their e-Commerce photography to new heights.”
Prior to joining I Heart Studios as General Manager in the Hong Kong office, Jess Chung had over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, including design, business development, and supply chain functions, across multiple-sized organizations in the UK, China, and Hong Kong. Her passion and expertise lie in creative, branding and business development and she boasts an astute understanding of the industry’s evolving needs, where she likes to add a unique perspective to different project approaches. Jess shared her perspective – “Spanning continents and cultures, my journey has been marked by a pursuit of excellence and a passion for creating impactful work. My ability to seamlessly blend multifaceted experiences in the UK, China and Hong Kong has helped me to overcome geographical obstacles in the workplace.”
