I Heart Studios will handle all stock and shipment logistics making a local brand operational office unnecessary, with low regional shipment costs and lead time, from the shoot in our studios to you receiving finished images, reducing to as little as 2 days. Our Hong Kong studio proposition could allow for factory to online content being published in under 1 week, thus allowing brands go-to-market strategy to be far quicker than shooting outside Asia.
The FAQ of I Heart Studios
After the initial consultation we will give you a quotation and timeline proposal based on your shoot brief. For all new customers, we offer an extensive onboarding service ie. test shoot + retouch + evaluation to ensure our output is exactly where it needs to be. We will assign a project manager to follow up your shoot from start to finish. After we shoot, all images will be colour checked and inspected to ensure all shooting angles and lighting standard are met; then your images will be sent to our post production team for retouching and these will be inspected again to make sure the overall quality is meets exacting stadards in accordance with the approved pilot.
For a first-time client, we recommend you allow us at least a month for ecommerce photography and 6 weeks for creative photography, so we have plenty of time to fully appreciate your brand's needs and conduct test shoot + retouch. For clients shooting regularly, we can shoot and deliver on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.
Please send us the shoot brief for your shooting requirements such as lighting and angle references. And a shot list to include all the style/ item codes of your products as this will help us to name the image files for you.
Depending on the volume and the complexity of your shoot brief, we should be able to shoot your images between 3-5 days once we receive your samples for a regular shooting reschedule.
In general we will keep your products at the studio for around 2 weeks or until you have approved all the images are approved by clients. However, we do offer sample storage management. So, if you require an additional storage system, please let us know.
We would always recommend our clients to visit our studio if they are new to shooting with us. Although it's not always necessary for ecommerce photography for you to be physically present, we would strongly recommend you to be present for creative shoot, as we believe that nobody understands your brand as well as you.
Once we have finished shooting, it should take us no more than 5-7 working days to finish retouching. For any urgent project, we can process your images in around 2-3 days at a small additional cost.
Absolutely! We will check your items out and arrange for a courier to pick up your products in their original packaging and return them to you.

Yes, we have an in-house styling and creative team offering styling consultation any necessary wardrobe sourcing and art-direction for both on-model shoots and creative shoots.
Yes, this is included as part of our service and we will make sure our output truly presents your products in their best, most accurate light.
Yes, just let us know your image output size and format requirements, so they are ready to go online.
Yes, this will be charged at a service cost and all props will be charged as an auxiliary cost.
All images produced by us will be uploaded to Bynder, our own DAM system, unless you would like us to upload to your own system.
We assign full usage rights of the imagery for you to use, however you want for as long as you want. This is notwithstanding other agreements such as model usage which may carry its own restrictions.
We have standard rate cards for all types of ecommerce photography and also studio day rates for on-model shoots. There are additional costs for the extra services needed for creative shoots.
The price we quote includes pre-production, production, post-production services and project management costs.
As a free port, Hong Kong boasts a duty-free import policy. Businesses can send and receive product samples from their business partners without incurring taxation or custom fees. This means that businesses can save time on customs clearance as well as additional savings on taxation costs.
